Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger who was born February 22, 1983 is an American comedian as well as an actress, host of a television show as well as executive producer and screenwriter. She won the NBC competition Last Comic Standing 2008 and has since hosted the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.

 In 2017 Shlesinger was the host of her own talk show at night called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.

 Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born in New York City to a Jewish family. [6] She was born in New York City to Jewish parents. The family relocated to Dallas as an infant. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. There she studied Spanish and was a member of the school’s improvisation team.

 Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She also was a part of Semester at Sea. She went to Emerson College in Boston. In Emerson College, she studied filmmaking and edited. She also became part of the Jimmy's comedy sketch group Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger who had graduated from college, moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue stand-up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her on stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
