Amy Carlson

 


Amy Lynn Carlson was born July 7 on the 7th of July in 1968. She is an American actor best known for her role in Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor and Josie Watts on the NBC soap opera Another World.


 


 Childhood and early life


 Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois in DuPage County Illinois], close to Chicago. She was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers at school. She is of Swedish descent with roots from Smaland.


 


 Career


 1986-92: Early career and college


 Her first appearance was in Hollywood as a background actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She then followed her elder sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
